This position gives you the opportunity to enhance, optimize and improve an already great tender process to be best in class in the Nordics. Tender & Pricing works cross-functionally to realize Stryker commercial and corporate goals. This small team is comprised of individuals with diverse expertise but a common passion to drive Stryker’s agenda inside and outside of the organization within an extremely busy and deadline focused environment.

Your key responsibilities

  • You will be the go-to person and expert in pricing, tender and analyses inquiries.
  • Full accountability in managing the preparation, submission and the outcome of Tenders.
  • Act as advising partner to sales within Tender questions and an expert on how to complete the questionnaire.
  • Respond to published OJEU (Official Journal of the European Union) advertisements and apply for full texts which are to be completed in a timely manner and prior to closing date.
  • Support with collection of information for business case analysis on offers and tenders.
  • Respond to on-going internal and external customer enquiries regarding contracts and pricing Responding to internal and external customer queries around pricing and statistics.
  • Prepare margin analysis for list prices, tenders and bids, discount calculations based on tender obligations and follow up, analysis and investigate different request from local business.
  • Assistance, with the management of Stryker Annual Price master files and production of Stryker Price list per country
  • Actively seek ways to improve the department and the efficiency of processes through close collaboration with cross-functional Stryker Leaders to create effective and persuasive materials.
  • Be the person that will solve problems, build relationships with purchasers and help sales reps to excel
  • Ownership of loading, maintaining and reviewing pricing on all Special Pricing to ensure usage warrants pricing
  • Continued activity and responsibility to raise the standard and quality of bids to increase bid

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor´s degree required, preferably in Purchasing, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Business, or similar field
  • 2+ years of related work experience in Tender work or other relevant position, for example, purchaser
  • Knowledge and understanding of public (and private) sector bid requirements
  • Strong Excel skills as well as adequate IT knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Oracle).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a pragmatic approach to finding solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work cross functionally and well under pressure.
  • An outstanding eye for detail with a drive to provide exceptional Tender Submissions.
  • Fluent spoken and written English as well as fluent in one Nordic language either Danish, Norwegian or Swedish.
