Job Description

The Technical Writer creates and/or updates controlled functional procedures.  Collaborates with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to manage the technical writing needs for the documents that are necessary for the performance of the functional body of work (i.e. Quality, testing, etc…).

  • Ability to produce clear, precise, understandable documentation while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to plan, organize, prioritize and implement multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Processes documentation changes utilizing a product lifecycle tool (PTC’s Windchill software)
  • Works with SMEs to develop and maintain business process maps and quality system documents.
  • Prepare training materials as required.
  • Measure and contribute to improvements functional processes
  • Performs under minimal supervision.
  • May undertake additional activities and/or projects to address functional goal and objectives.
