Job Description

The Job's Mission

To play a leading role in supporting the on-site technical needs of Stryker customers. You will be supporting customers across the South Central Region, where no two days will be the same, you could be repairing patient stretchers to temperature monitoring systems, and could be in Oxford one day and Southampton the next. 


Key Activities & Accountabilities within your territory:

  • Set objectives and manage results to improve repair service levels
  • Ownership and oversite of service contracts
  • Maintain service oriented, customer relationship management
  • Ensure all Medical’s product are maintained in optimum condition
  • Ensure excellent follow-up on all customer initiated issues
  • Give technical support and training to Product Managers and sales staff
  • Give technical support and training to Customers and External Technicians

Within your role you will work to key performance indicators, managing your own time and workload.  You will enjoy the autonomy of running your own diary and prioritizing critical service calls.  You will have a flair for problem solving and coming up with solutions whilst keeping calm under pressure.  You will naturally be service minded, your quality of repair work will be second to none and you will take pride in your ability to provide such service with a positive attitude at all times regardless of the situation.


Experience and Education:

Must have:

  • Good mechanical  and electronic skills
  • Fluency in both spoken and written (technical and medical (ideally)) English
  • Training and experience with Mechanical, electronics beds or equivalent
  • Adequate IT-knowledge (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook &Oracle)

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience in medical equipment.
  • Experience in the hospital environment and health care work.
  • Good Stryker product portfolio knowledge.
  • Experienced field service engineers from other backgrounds will be considered.
