Job Description

The Technical Services Engineer (“Engineer”) shall promptly, conscientiously and efficiently perform the following tasks to ensure the timely fulfillment of obligations of Stryker to customers:

  • Manage their daily workload within the office and amongst customer accounts;
  • Ensure that all repairs are evaluated and completed in a timely manner as defined by the Team lead or Supervisor;
  • Work with the Customer services Department to schedule the quality checking of all capital equipment;
  • Support the office in responding to customer queries in a timely; efficient; and professional manner
  • Provide reporting on all aspects of work within the office;
  • Manage customer expectations
  • Assist with booking in, quoting and repair of customer equipment.
  • Maintain technical competency through regular and frequent attendance at appropriate courses of further vocational study and continuing professional development.
  • Ensure that COSHH, HTM and Health & Safety standards and requirements are met at all times by the Supplier, its employees, servants and agents.
  • Ensure that the department’s performance of services is ISO 9001 compliant. Undertake projects to improve the processes within the Technical Services area.
  • Provide Technical support for both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure efficient maintenance of the spare parts stock and will participate in the realization of the required annual inventories
  • Provide reporting on repair, departmental or customer activity using the appropriate systems available.
