What you will do

  • Ensure that all supply planning processes are running smoothly for the area of their responsibility
  • Report any non-conformances to the Design Division Customer Service team and taking corrective action immediately
  • Use the company’s ERP system and tools available to better manage purchase orders to the internal vendors, inventory levels and in the end product availability.
  • Balance excess inventory across various warehouses to ensure optimum inventory levels and minimum idle stock per warehouse
  • Perform return to supplier (RTS) and scrapping exercises to get rid of idle stock which has been already reserved for
  • Ensure item master is properly maintained regarding Supply Chain parameters: supplier data, make-to-stock, make-to-order, and lead-time attributes
  • Implement and maintain Inventory and Material Management Strategies for all Finished Goods by regular review and optimization of inventory parameters and levels (e.g. reorder pt, safety stock, ABC categorization
  • Identify and manage potential inventory obsolescence to minimize write-offs (finished goods and raw materials)
  • Recommend and participate in Supply Chain projects to improve productivity, processes and savings
  • Place Purchase Orders as per company guidelines and limits
  • Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues/variances and perform define corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence
  • Conduct regular business and performance reviews with Demand Planners, Marketing, Finance and Manufacturing
  • Project Management for Commercialization and Launch phase for selected project types 
  • Reporting (regular check/update)

What you need

  • Professional Degree in Industrial Engineer, Business Administration fields and related
  • Team work and customer service orientation
  • Advanced MS Office-suite skills, specially Excel
  • Bilingual English-Portuguese
  • Experience as a planner / buyer / international trade(Medical Device) in an corporate and multi-national environment.
  • Experience with purchasing, inventory management, PLM and forecasting modules of ERPs like SAP or MFG-PRO
