Job Description

For the supervisor we are looking to recruit a great talent to further improve our Value Added Services team. You will be managing the operational staff of approx 45 enthusiastic team members, partly Stryker employees and partly flex workers.

This large team consist of a variety of different cultures. To be successful in this role we are recruiting a talent with a proven track record of a minimum of two years in managing people within a dynamic and international environment.

Important as Supervisor is that you are the first contact person for the team members (incl 3 coordinators/ leading hands) and contact person for the other 5 Supervisors. You ensure that the team runs smoothly, which means that you lead the 'kick off meetings' every day, ensures that the employees are aware of the current work instructions and you are responsible for the efficient and safe use of materials. In addition, you ensure that quality and productivity are guaranteed. You also stimulate within your team to pay attention to improvement of the process, productivity or quality. You also keep an attendance list, conduct your appraisal and appraisal interviews with employees, and you are the point of contact for absenteeism reports.

  • MBO + / HBO education, preferably in the logistics or business administration;
  • English is the business language within Stryker, we welcome all other European languages
  • Good knowledge of LEAN is a pré
  • Experience in QMS
