Job Description

What you'll do:

As the Staff Systems Engineer in R&D, you will work with stakeholders to understand the product needs, establish Use Cases and System Architecture that supports the User / Stakeholder Needs and Use Cases.  Then flow those needs and use cases into product requirements.  A systems engineer also establishes product architecture, including hardware and software interactions.  As the Systems Engineer, you will support system integration testing and regulatory submissions.

What you need:

Engineering Degree (biomedical, software, electrical, or mechanical)

4 – 7 years of experience doing any of the following:

  • Software, electrical, or mechanical engineering in the medical device industry, or
  • Systems engineering in a regulated industry, or Project Management in a regulated industry
  • Follow established policies, quality procedures, and work instructions
  • Independently work with project teams to identify work direction
  • Independently plan and deliver tasks to which they have been trained
  • Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Communicate status, obstacles, and solutions with project team and management
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Ability to form opinions and contribute to key decisions
