We are currently seeking a Staff Software Test Engineer located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

What you will do:

  • The Staff Software Engineer in Test will drive defect prevention throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • As a Software Engineer in Test, you will improve the quality of products and accelerate the product delivery.
  • You will be responsible for designing, implementing the automated test infrastructure and tests.
  • Your focus is developing code (for both the test infrastructure and test scripts) that finds bugs.
  • Your job is to accelerate product development by helping developers and testers help themselves.
  • You will typically work in small, nimble teams that collaborate on common problems across products and across focus areas.
  • As a result, you will have exposure to a broader set of problems, which allows for fast career growth and proximity to abundant technical problems.
  • Software Engineers in Test are focused on the hardest, most interesting aspects of delivering high quality software.

  • Build advanced automated test suites to exercise our world-class applications.
  • Work with the development and test engineering teams to automate tests.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies.
  • Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system.
  •  Will have strong proficiency in Python and C++

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with a minimum of 5 plus years of experience
  • 3 + of software testing experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading a software testing team, estimating work, meeting quality and timeline expectations.
  • Experience in a regulated software development environment desired.
  • Demonstrated experience using Windows, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
  • Strong aptitude and interest in system and software testing; both manual and automated testing.
  • Demonstrated experience in the following: software testing methods, test plan and test case development, software risk analysis and software development practices.

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 10%
