Job Description

In this role you will design, develop and maintain application software for robot assisted surgery products.  Work closely with peers in software engineering, software quality assurance and project and product management to develop software that meets customer and system requirements.  Including identifying issue root causes and potential solutions.  Follow defined design practices including Agile methodology and the use of sound software engineering principles to ensure that the application software products are safe, robust and user friendly.


  • BS in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering or related
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience
  • Demonstrated C++ language skills
  • Experience in the use of the Qt framework
  • Experience in Image Processing, Computer Graphics, and 3D geometry
  • Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms, and Object Oriented Analysis and Design
  • Proven experience in application of software engineering standards for safety critical applications
  • Be detailed oriented with strong written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Experience in biomedical applications is a plus
