The Neurovascular Stroke Market is continuing to go through huge growth, driven by developments in new products to improve clinical outcomes, treat more patients and save lives.   


We are hiring a Staff R&D Engineer to join our team and play a key role in launching new products to treat stroke.

What You will Do:

The R&D Staff Engineer will act as a Core Team Member where she/he will lead a team of engineers and technicians to develop the relevant processes and technologies required to launch new products.  

The role will be to provide short, medium and long term project direction to other engineers and technicians in order to meet project launch requirements.

Working cross-functionally will be a key part of the role in order to facilitate successful launches of new neurovascular devices to treat stroke.

You should be able to apply engineering and scientific rationale along with the application of methodical problem solving and data analysis techniques to provide direction to the project team or address technical issues.

Travel will be required from time to time in order to assess potential vendors, visit Divisional headquarters in California to present out on project status and complete technical reviews or meet with sales and marketing personnel or physicians in order to improve product knowledge.

What You Need:

  • Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or applicable technical field
  • 4+ years’ of experience in the medical device industry
  • Prior experience in medical device development
  • Strong technical capabilities and project management capability to develop aspect of assigned projects on time and within budget.
  • The individual should enjoy working in a dynamic & results oriented team environment where flexibility is essential.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Be open minded with the ability to recognise good ideas.
  • Demonstrated Leadership, Project Management and Engineering experience in New Product Introduction in a regulated environment would prove beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to plan, organise and implement concurrent tasks.
  • Will have demonstrated an ability to define project risk and to effectively manage project risks.
  • Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry beneficial.
  • High level of PC Skills required. (MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project).
  • Experience of GD&T, Process mapping, statistical methods and process/ product validations would prove beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail
