What you will do

  • Develop and introduce new products and work extensively with Product Development, Quality and Manufacturing Operations to take a product from design concept through production ramp up
  • Review designs for components and assemblies.
  • Develop manufacturing process and test strategies.
  • Select and develop suppliers that will understand and comply with our requirements.
  • Utilize design transfer tools such as Process Flow chart, Process FMEA, Control Plan, Measurement System Analysis and Process Validation.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar
  • 5 years related work experience
  • Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and have a good understanding of geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Familiarity with process development for manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in executing complex problem-solving techniques related to manufacturing/design technical issues.
