What you will do

  • Be responsible for handling multiple high-level technical tasks that surround the use and implementation of CAM software, CNC Machining of complex parts, and working on multi Axis CNC Machines.
  • Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability and regulatory requirements. Work with quality engineers to develop component specific testing and inspection protocols. 
  • May lead/support capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment, contract negotiation, Installation and validation. 
  • Will analyse equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental test and result analysis. Lead and/or participate in process review meetings
  • Use your interpersonal and communication skills to achieve outcomes in a fast paced environment

What you need

  • Strong hands-on machining background with experience as a Swiss-turn CNC machinist/programmer.
  • B.S in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline with 4 or more years’ experience or a related masters degree or 10 or more years of related industry experience.
  • CAD/CAM Experience. Swiss CNC Programming, Part Programming and knowledge of manufacturing environment including setup & training of Swiss / CNC processes. 
  • Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), related statistical tools and validation/verification techniques.
