Job Description

The Sr. Principal, Engineering Program Manager position is a high impact, hands-on leadership role with responsibility for leading global cross-functional teams and driving major initiatives of continuous improvement for the Joint Replacement division.  This role requires a talented individual with proven expertise in matrix-based execution and program strategy development resulting in recommendations to senior leaders on critical to business projects in new development and sustaining areas of focus.  The global nature of the role will require work to be conducted across sites and/or divisions to support key initiatives.   


  • BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering preferred), advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to all levels within the organization.
  • 10+ years of experience working within an operational product engineering environment, preferably in the medical device industry
  • Familiarity with concepts and tools in evolving process excellence in line with the latest industry trends.
  • Strong influencer and negotiator, who is self-motivated and has a proven track record of change management in R&D at a divisional and corporate level.
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio);
