Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of SSS Pricing including timely and accurately implementing new prices, price updates, overrides for SSS Customers..
  • Manage and implement timely pricing for SSS Special agreements).
  • Provide price files/reports as requested and approved.
  • Provide support for contract reviews, queries and updates.
  • Continue to find ways to improve/innovate pricing process including coding and reporting.
  • Provide insight/support on developing pricing strategies for customers.
  • Work with Corporate Accounts, Sales Leadership, Marketing, Commercial Analytics and Legal Teams to execute Pricing strategy in the best interest of Stryker
  • Address any on-going pricing related queries from the field, customer base and internal business functions or external customers
  • Maintain pricing system integrity in SSS ERP
  • Regularly monitor pricing compliances/deviation, evaluate against strategy and report results to business stakeholders
  • Perform timely pricing analysis and guidance to sales, marketing and corporate accounts organizations. Develop strategies for improvement in narrowing the pricing bands
  • Provide support and backup to the team as requested.

Qualifications (Education, Certifications and/or Experience)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law, IT or related field of study.
  • 3+ years of pricing management or relevant work experience required.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • JDEdwards proficiency required.
  • Business Intelligence tools proficiency (Business Objects, Cognos, Crystal Reports and/or Oracle preferred).
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a rapidly changing environment and prioritize continuously shifting deliverables with tight deadlines.
  • Decisive, flexible, critical and quick-thinking.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, having analytical, financial and strategic acumen.
  • Self-starter and ability to work with limited direction.
  • Advanced data mining skills.
  • Demonstrated success influencing others to drive impact.
  • Ability to prioritize work and keep accurate, detailed and confidential records.
  • General understanding or working knowledge of contracting structures and language.
