The Senior Global Product Manager, W&C and AEDs, is responsible for driving the current and future success of AEDs and related solutions into the Workplace & Community (W&C) market.  The Senior Global Product Manager leads initiatives to accelerate global sales and profitability, penetrate strategic markets, and exceed customer needs with superior product offerings and solutions.  The person in this role will work cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Operations, Quality and other groups to drive commercialization and market expansion efforts through direct and indirect channels.  The responsibilities involve strategy setting, hands-on implementation, project management, data analysis, creative problem solving and customer understanding.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Closely monitor AED sales and profitability metrics and recommend steps to achieve top line and bottom line sales growth targets.
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders to develop and refine plan to achieve long-term and short-term segment objectives through effective commercialization and End-of-Life (EOL) strategies. 
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, R&D, Finance, Legal, Clinical Research, Quality, Regulatory and Operations to define future AED and AED Program Management requirements, operational support requirements, customer needs, pricing and product features.
  • Develop product and service opportunity assessments, contribute to product positioning and messaging, and support sales team and distribution partners with sales enablement tools. 
  • Research the unique needs of customers and distribution partners relative to their vertical market segments and geographies.  Incorporate those needs into actionable marketing proposals.
  • Analyze market and competitive forces to discover strategic opportunities for growth and competitive advantage. 
  • Utilize strategic mapping activities and regular surveys of reps and customers to develop market awareness and understanding of customer perceptions. 
  • Cultivate next generation key opinion leaders and influencers in collaboration with sales and marketing stakeholders to drive referral business and AED category leadership.
  • Plan and conduct product-specific and solutions-based sales trainings and communications.
  • Conceive and launch solution-oriented offerings that increase recurring revenue across full W&C product portfolio.
  • Lead and mentor others on W&C team to work with a sense of urgency to grow global AED awareness to accelerate sales and save more lives.
  • Manage associates, product managers, and/or interns if assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree (emphasis in marketing or related discipline).
  • 6 years of business to business marketing experience, medical device or closely related marketing experience.
  • Superior communications, analytics, and professional presentation skills.
  • Proven success in managing complex and multi-faceted marketing programs with the ability to drive projects through completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, ideally with concentration in marketing, healthcare field, or business administration.
  • Strong execution capability and detail orientation.
  • Global product management experience.
  • Product launch and commercialization experience with proven ability to translate diverse customer needs into actionable marketing plans.
  • Demonstrated experience in addressing channel and distribution strategies to targeted market segment.
