Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will analyze and forecast financial data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. The Senior level Financial Analyst executes many of the same activities as the Experienced level. In addition, the Senior level will also typically: possess well developed knowledge and skills to interpret financial information and make recommendations to senior management.

  • Collaborate with corporate finance shared services and other stakeholders to manage monthly close activities to ensure accuracy of corporate functions financial statements. Closely monitor corporate and other cost allocations.
  • Review output from accounting function (e.g., general ledger, fixed asset ledger, pre-payments, journals and balance sheet) for accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory reporting.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis of corporate functional spend and provide commentary to allotted functional areas.
  • Participate in the planning and forecasting processes working closely with the business partners of allotted cost centers and other stakeholders.
  • Support preparation of corporate functions monthly reporting package ensuring accuracy and timely publication.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide key financial information in support of executive management decision making.
  • Support ad hoc analysis, including analysis for due diligence, compensation and/or other activities
  • Work collaboratively with corporate and division/group finance teams to drive continuous improvement in the finance function.

Minimum requirements:

•         Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance Required

•         CPA or other equivalent certification is preferred 

•         3+ years of accounting experience

•         Proficient computer skills, including proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI

•         HFM experience preferred

•         Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

•         Strong ability to build relationships 

•         Positive attitude, desire to learn, self-motivated and effective team player
