Job Description

Responsible for application and embedded software design for post commerce electro-mechanical medical devices. Detailed tasks include:

  • Design and development of embedded software code
  • Generate software requirements specifications
  • Conduct software risk analysis
  • Diagnosis and remediation of production issues should they arise
  • Ongoing maintenance of software applications
  • Development of software verification and validation tests
  • Debug software and hardware/schematics at high level using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and simulators.
  • C/C++, Object Oriented Coding
  • Collaboration with electrical engineers to define microprocessor and interface requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 3+ years experience in software design
  • Experience in design cycles and launching new products
  • Background in C++
  • Linux experience strongly preferred

Travel Percentage: Up to 25%
