What you will do-

  • Supports global data visibility efforts including cleansing, construction and validation of GQO transportation related data
  • Collaborates closely with carrier partners to drive performance and efficiency
  • Utilize global data visibility tool to build and maintain a platform to measure raw material / component supplier’s performance to our routing guide requirements
  • Provide guidance and train business users to make educated shipping decisions
  • Participate in and provide analysis to support supplier negotiations as it relates to freight terms
  • Acts as liaison with transportation leaders and finance team in GQO sites; influences counterparts to implement suggested initiatives
  • Prepares analysis for make versus buy decisions
  • Identifies opportunities and leads or actively participates in process improvement initiatives globally
  • Build supplier routing guides and configure systems to ensure compliance
  • Develop requirements for bids, review and confirm bid preparatory data, evaluate the results to award the business, balancing cost, inventory, and lead time for each lane
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute KPI and metrics packages

What you need-

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of related work experience with a strong understanding of specified functional area highly preferred
  • Strong Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel and Power BI
  • Ability to analyze data and identify potential issues and make solution recommendations
  • Medical device or other highly regulated industry experience preferred

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 10%
