We are currently seeking a Sourcing Analyst to join Stryker’s Spine division based in Shirley, MA.

What you will do

As a Sourcing Analyst, you are a key member of the Spine Global Procurement team providing execution and analysis of sourcing activities for Mobius Imaging. You support Mobius New Product Development (NPD) and Operations, responsible for obtaining the best quality, service and value for products and services through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the development, implementation and analysis of strategies for assigned projects and suppliers to achieve department objectives for quality, cost and supplier development
  • Provide analysis of supplier quotes, total cost model, capacity and ability to manufacture to requirements; recommends and awards new business to approved suppliers
  • Negotiate and implement supplier contracts and agreements (NDA’s, SOW’s, Development Agreements, ect.)
  • Develop strong relationships with key suppliers and represent the ‘voice of the supplier’ in the organization
  • Initiate RFQ’s on newly created designs and negotiate pricing to meet project cost targets
  • Responsible for ordering of engineering samples, prototypes and pre-launch quantities
  • Orders production level tooling and First Articles/PPAP, with diligent follow up on delivery commitments and supplier’s key milestone dates
  • Procures parts for new products to an established product launch schedule and cost targets
  • Supports establishment and achievement of cost standards for annual operating budgets
  • Oversee Mobius Supplier Add process, responsible for ensuring all supplier add/change requests have all necessary quality, financial and other documentation in place before ASL addition. 
  • Focuses on customer satisfaction by demonstrated teamwork and empowerment, solving problems through a consultative approach, operating with honesty and integrity and providing a highly responsive and unsurpassed level of customer service
  • Provide updates and inputs to long term sourcing strategy, monthly supplier metrics/performance and Supplier Business Reviews
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with Quality, Planning, Advanced Operations, R&D and the extended Sourcing network to achieve near to long term objectives

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering preferred
  • Demonstrated presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to make decisions regarding materials, planning and supplier relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, commodity management or sourcing within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in medical device or highly regulated environment
  • Knowledge of planning systems and measurement tools

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 10%
