What you will do

The solution delivery analyst is responsible for working in various areas within the software development life cycle to develop and deliver written requirements, functional requirements, test plans and/or executed test scripts as needed within Stryker’s project process. Transitioning of completed projects to support team. 

For support, the analyst is responsible for providing functional expertise in maintenance, troubleshooting and issue resolution for Stryker US ERP systems, specifically JD Edwards and integration platforms for business to business communications.  Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for the functional delivery of approved projects and/or changes to be delivered within a release cycle, and/or assist with providing functional and technical support to new projects through the project management framework.

The analyst must be able to produce detailed business requirements, liaise with technical teams in the development of technical design requirements, provide development of documents needed to support unit and user acceptance testing in accordance with the Stryker’s governance processes. The analyst needs the ability to work within the designated applications and understand the overall design / architecture of the supported platform.

The analyst must also consider and collaborate with day-to-day support team during development for impact on ticket volumes, licensing constraints, process execution requirements during and post hyper care activity.

Communication within IS teams is critical for both day-to-day events and building out new solutions. This particular candidate will play a key role supporting business to technical aspects of the IS systems from the front-end application. 

•        Work with teams in implementation of project or enhancement efforts to improve business functionality, processes and efficiencies.

•        Partner with business and technical teams to drive consensus on the best solution to business problems and the delivery of new solutions and enhancements.          

•        Be able to support the business and recommend/provide holistic solutions that integrate the existing technical standards with the business needs and processes.

•        Develop opportunities to improve system process flow, performance, and technical efficiencies.

•        Work with a diverse business community to document as-is and to-be business processes.

•        Work with technical resources to convert user requirements to technical specifications.

•        Be able to produce both system and technical documentation.

•        Partner with Business Analysts in understanding system requirements and translating into solutions within an application and/or application stack.

•        Lead and drive change through approved policies in accordance with corporate policy through corporate tools.

  • Strong knowledge of PC skills working with large datasets (Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents).
  • Ability to drive initiatives and projects independently from start to finish.
  • Demonstrated skill in communicating with technical information to varying audiences.        
  • Demonstrated ability to develop detailed project requests or charters which include project objectives, success criteria, and requirements.
  • Experience in identifying opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain clear communication channels with IS and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert complex business functions into technical specifications.
  • Demonstrate skill in communicating with technical information to varying audiences.
