What you will do

You will work as a member of a small, cross functional team that will be intensely focused on a small number of medical procedures. You will be able to have inputs into all phases of product development as well as have opportunities to see our product in action via customer visits.

You will also:

  • Design and develop embedded software.
  • Consult domain experts (including physicians, and marketing) to generate software requirements.
  • Diagnose and remediate production issues.
  • Develop software verification and validation tests to meet regulatory needs.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to define microprocessor and interface requirements.


What you need

  • B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field is required. 
  • 2+ years of experience is required.
  • Ability to debug software and hardware/schematics at high level using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and simulators is preferred.
  • Demonstrated mastery in system level software (drivers, RTOS, and test applications) in an embedded environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented design concepts. Comfortable with principles including: manual memory management, pointers, and race conditions is preferred.
  • Familiarity with C++ and python is preferred.
