Job Description

Responsible of manage the Service Area. Leading to a highly motivated team environment that meets and exceeds business expectations; ensuring of being a principal support for sales areas in pre and post-sale.

Field Service Team Management
  • Supervise warranty work, upgrades, field actions, preventative maintenance, installations, deliveries billable service or any other related services required by a client.
  • Directs Field Service Team to achieve assignments using established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
  • Supervise post sale servicing on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Oversee the effective, proficient, and timely service and repairs to all customers in direct support of the sales team to ensure optimal customer satisfaction of the entire Technical Service team.
  • Resolves problems related to their field service area as brought to them by their subordinates, peers, and manager(s).
Technical Service Sales
  • Make sure every resource needed is available to achieve the Sales target for the year. This target includes mainteinance contracts, equipment fixing and all kind of technical service deliverables that could be charged to a Customer in order to make Stryker's equipments work.
  • Build among the Technical Service Team the adequate line/territory divisions according to the Sales target for each year.
  • Control monthly target achievement and report.
Inventory Management
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of Stryker spare partes, samples & loaner equipment.
Leadership/People Development
  • Manage the Service Team through talent strategy: Attract, Develop, Retain and Align, Ensuring that the best talent is sourced, developed, managed and engaged.
  • Management responsibilities includes selection of new employees, performance evaluation inputs, career development, and administration of corrective actions.
  • Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, allocating tasks and checking work at frequent intervals.
  • Develop succession plans and ensure a pool of individuals is trained and capable of taking on additional responsibilities.
  • Conduct employee engagement sessions annually, and create and execute action plans based on these sessions.
Conduct & Compliance
  • Abide by and support the policies set forth in the Stryker Code of Conduct
  • Understand that compliance with the Code of Conduct, as it may be amended by Stryker Corporation from time to time, is a condition of continued employment with Stryker
  • Manages budget as provided by senior leadership to ensure effective operating income gains.
  • Coordinate with third party service providers when needed.
  • Implement and maintain a culture of continous improvement of service provided to our customers.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in engineering: Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent is preferred;
  • Minimum 5 years in Technical Service functions;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a team leader;
  • Fluency in English is desirable;
  • Courses or studies in business are desirable;
  • Advanced user in Excel;
  • Knowledge of ERP's;
  • Previous experience in the medical devices business is a plus;
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks;
  • Focused on processes / details;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Ability to lead and coordinate teams;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
