What you will do


As the Service Operations Excellence Manager you will be responsible for the creation, implementation, and sustainment of standards, business processes, key metrics, and tools to achieve consistent operating execution across Stryker Instruments Depot and Field Services in North America and align standards across the globe particularly in partnership with European counterparts. Our ideal candidate is passionate developing a continuous improvement culture at all levels of the organization. We want someone who can drive improvements in customer service, revenue growth, organizational capability and cost productivity. You will participate in design of strategic imperatives, specific projects, and development of KPI targets in partnership with Service Delivery Leadership Team. Lastly you’ll interact with customers, sales reps, and marketing leaders.


What you need

  • Bachelors Degree  in Business,  Engineering (Process, MFG, or Industrial Preferred), or closely related field.
  • 2+ years of Program/Project Management Experience, preferably in a Lean Mfg. setting.
  • Complex critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to develop relationships with cross functional teams to achieve results in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to develop, review and provide feedback for effectiveness of procedures and training.
  • Strong leader, with demonstrated ability to plan, organize and execute.
  • Ability to influence and drive achievement, within Global Customer Care and cross-departmental peer groups.
  • Solid business/ financial acumen and functional understanding of performance metrics.
  • Familiar with MS Office including Visio and Project.
