What you will do:

The Service Associate is an integral part of a team that is responsible for servicing the collection process of single-use devices at hospitals and surgery centers.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Collects, packages and ships reprocessable single-use medical devices from assigned accounts.
  • Effectively answers questions regardingour business to customers and hospital staff.
  • Implementsnew collection areas withinhospitals and surgery centers.
  • Works closely with Sales Representative and Associate Sales Rep to determine collection points and schedule.
  • Updates scheduling system to ensure activity and collections have been logged in the area.
  • Orders and ensures appropriate levels of supplies in the territory based on collection needs.
  • Collects information in hospital accounts and shares with the team to help drive growth and new business in existingaccounts.
  • Ensures proper brandingis present at collection sites.
  • Assists sales team in providing timely, adequate solutions for customer issues and communicates customer concerns
  • Adheres to hospital protocols and company policies and procedures to protect self and others from exposure to safety and health hazards.

Experience/skills required

  • Computer literate and workingknowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Service-orientedpersonality with strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, listening and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds on a daily basis.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license and appropriate insurance to travel by car as required.
  • Highschool degree or GED required.
  • Use of your personal vehicle (drive 80-100 miles/day depending on territory).
  • Experience working in a hospital environment preferred, but not required.
