What you will do

The Senior Implementation Specialist role is accountable for partnering with demand planning to optimize order and inventory fulfillment strategy resulting in an improved customer experience  Execute on strategy from demand planning, s&op planning, distribution, commercial analytics and customer care team.  Liaison for communication related to inventory inquires, exception updates and forecast planning. A key responsibility is management of effective and consistent communication that bridges internal/external customers and serves as the primary source of product fulfillment knowledge.  This position will work closely with customer care, commercial analytics, marketing (IBP), sales, and operations to deliver world class customer experience. 

  • Partner with demand planning team to study, analyze and report on customer inventory and planning relative to SKU’s and product lines, including recommendations on planning levers related to product fill-rates
  • Serves as primary escalation contact for Customer Care Support (CCS) and Sales for opportunities to maximize sales through allocation of surplus items not identified through available inventory
  • Monitor backorder and related order-generation touch points that drives proactive communication alerts for revenue impacts across franchise programs
  • Effectively structure various communication methods to ensure delivery to targeted audience with relevant information for digestion and correspondence.
  • Support War Room activities that highlight customer insights, competitive service advantages, and recommendations to drive sales, customer loyalty and retention
  • Leverage for communication, measurable workflow and customer history
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to analyze raw device and finished good inventories that yield innovative methods that target increased sales while sustaining a good customer experience
  • Manage the prime vendor program and results reporting; includes process for evaluating new customers and items as well as discontinued items and the associated planning that provides the critical advanced communication to minimize customer supply chain interruptions
  • Publish dashboard reporting of KPI metrics that measures health; opportunities and risk of performance
  • Responds to customer questions efficiently and effectively through the use of active listening, personalization techniques and focusing on adding value
  • Contributes to building a high-performing team culture and overall customer experience
  • Actively participate and lead departmental meetings or team huddles
  • Support corporate/division policies and procedures that ensure compliance of quality management systems

What you need

  • B.S./B.A. degree required or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience in; customer service, sales support, analytics, supply chain or similar
  • Advanced knowledge of JD Edwards and/or applicable ERP Sales Order module experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite with strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Achievement and/or consistent improvement of dashboard goals
  • Established track record for achieving challenging goals and adapting to change
  • Excellent organizational and people skills with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner
  • Demonstrated experience in transforming raw data into meaningful information
  • Must be analytical and process-oriented, highly motivated with results driven leadership abilities
  • Ability to set priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, without close supervision, as well as part of a team
