What you will do

R&D Sustaining Engineering is a critical function that ensures business continuity of commercial products, implements product improvements and supports revenue generation programs.  You will:

  • Execute design changes, navigating Design Control from Design Requirements thru Design Verification/Validation and Manufacturing Implementation.
  • Work closely with Regulatory Affairs, Design Assurance, Quality, Manufacturing and Operations to resolve post-launch product technical issues.
  • Support Sales and Marketing with technical fairs, competitive analysis, field response and product launch support.  

What you need

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Bioengineering or similar technical engineering degree.
  • 6 years of experience, medical device industry preferred. 
  • Master’s degree or PhD preferred and may account for years of experience.
  • Experience supporting medical devices in an R&D, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering capacity, preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in designs and processing technologies for guidewires, catheter, stents, coils or flow diverters, preferred
  • Strong technical capabilities and project management capability to develop aspects of assigned projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good leadership abilities.
