Job Description

Sr. Sourcing Specialist will function as a search expert, responsible for working with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to locate and attract the best talent to Stryker. This experienced Sourcing Specialist will demonstrate exceptionally deep internet research, lead generation, competitive intelligence gathering, social media and talent marketing.  The Sourcing Specialist will explore new methods to source, evaluate, and pipeline candidates for the company’s key business groups.

Develops thorough knowledge of the staffing needs for the business partnering with Staffing, Recruiters and Hiring Managers to fulfill immediate needs as well as to develop strategic hiring plans.

• Develops expertise in understanding each assigned functional role, including skills required, relevant technologies, necessary degrees, key words and search parameters, etc. 
• Comfortable identifying, assessing, selling and relationship building with all levels of Stryker future talent.
• Aggressively pursues all leads primarily through passive channels utilizing all resources available, including Internet research methods, job boards and resume databases, advanced search engine syntax, social networks, leads databases, phone research and cold calling, and more, to find “cold” leads.
• Cold calls inside industry contacts, competitor companies and other leads to efficiently convert contacts into candidates.
• Actively participates in social networking (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc) to generate leads.
• Effectively leverages referral sourcing for additional leads and pipeline building.
• Proficient in utilizing CRM-Avature and/or LinkedIn Talent Pipeline and ATS (Kenexa) technologies to track all leads, contacts, candidates, etc. and leverages the CRM system to continuously build talent pool.
• Effectively markets Stryker throughout appropriate talent communities based on a unified brand as established by Stryker.
• Stays current on and maintains knowledge of source effectiveness through trainings offered by various sourcing resources as well as those required by Stryker.
• Strong team contributor and collaborator in all forms (new ideas, team calls, mentoring, training, partnerships with Recruiters and Hiring Managers, etc).  Capable of coaching team members in conducting research and automation.
• Provides research focus in the area of sourcing for the Ortho Sales Group.  Aggressively meets/exceeds annual, monthly, and weekly sourcing objectives to include, but not limited to, leads, contacts, candidates, diversity metrics, hires, cost savings, quality of hire, and improved time to fill.

*Minimum Qualifications

3-5 years of Internet and direct sourcing experience (comprised of primary and secondary intelligence gathering, cold calling, social networking, and traditional headhunting methods) and demonstrated success in identifying talent for highly technical jobs with complex search criteria. Experience gathering difficult passive candidate and company data quickly is critical to this role. 
Skills
 
•  Demonstrated expert-hunter mentality sourcing/networking skills
•  Strong presentation skills with the ability to build momentum around projects and initiatives
•  Familiarity with configuration, utilization and supervision of sourcing automation tools, rapid data entry and parsing tools, and desktop efficiency applications
•  Extensive internet research experience, including Boolean Logic and deep knowledge of search engine syntax in at least three search engines
•  Comprehensive experience with search automation such as robots, spiders and power browsers
•  Ability to handle and track multiple complex searches simultaneously Ability to manage and analyze complex reports and provide guidance/direction on predictive candidate pipe-lining and sourcing
•  Proven track record of delivering a high volume of quality candidate leads in a busy technical environment 
•  Strong ability to understand, interpret and relate technical requirements
•  Experience with building and leveraging talent communities, social media/networking, CRM and ATS systems
•  Strong knowledge of EEO, OFCCP and Affirmative Action Plans
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•  Skilled at information management and organization of big data 
•  Dexterity in engaging prospect (initiating contact) through both email and telephone cold calling
•  Strong organizational and follow-up skills and the ability to function under pressure and meet deadlines 
•  High level of self-initiative with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
