Responsibilities

The Sr. Sourcing Analyst is responsible for leading key projects and analysis for indirect procurement priorities; including project management, communications and policy development activities.  The Sr. Sourcing Analyst will engage directly with the business function on strategic sourcing activities for assigned projects/commodities.

Specific responsibilities of the Sr. Sourcing Analyst include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Drive companywide initiatives to develop and implement decision support and data systems to enhance supply chain decision making and performance monitoring including: Spend Analytics and global Procure to Pay/Source to Settle project implementation needs
  • Lead indirect spend reporting/analysis needs, including partnering with corporate finance group on companywide reporting needs
  • Lead/own the indirect procurement communications strategy, including website maintenance
  • For sourcing projects, partner with category owners to implement consistent category sourcing strategies and processes and lead sourcing events, negotiations and contract development

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.  A Master’s degree or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or equivalent is preferred.  CWWP credentialing also highly preferred.

Candidates should also possess at least 3 year of experience in commodity analysis, supplier management or similar, preferably with Financial and/or HR categories.

Ideal candidates will also possess the following skills/experience:

  • Experience developing, negotiating, and implementing commercial contracts, including supply and service agreements
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders to deliver results
  • Project management capability and experience
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of contingent labor and contracts and HR compliance knowledge/experience preferred
  • Training in financial analysis, strategic analysis, negotiation skills and project management
  • Strong understanding of procurement and strategic commodity management preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to establish and leverage strong working relationships with internal teams
