Sr. Sales Operations Analyst     

This role provides a unique opportunity to work cross functionally and build relationships with both internal and external customers.  The sales operations analyst’s primary responsibilities include order credit analysis and ownership, territory realignment analysis and execution, sales force quota analysis and ad hoc analytics.


Position responsibilities:

  • Provide sales leaders with the data necessary to drive fact-based territory decisions
  • Support the annual sales quota process. Verify historical data is accurate and properly aligned to ensure an accurate baseline.
  • Will assist in the analysis of internal and external data sources to support sales strategies and programs. Annual sales quota, sales performance awards, rankings, etc.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with HCS, Strategic Contracting, Marketing and sales leaders to identify targeted sales opportunities
  • Serve as a key process and system resource for Instruments including the development of templates, matrix formats, reporting structures and portfolio reporting metrics as necessary
  • Will act as the liaison between the assigned business unit, sales enablement, sales comp, I.S., on all sales and data management matters
  • Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers
  • Provide historical trend analysis regarding customer pricing, sales and procedures
  • Will work actively with Sales Operations, Compensation, Pricing management, Sales Leadership and/or BU leadership to communicate activities within scope of job responsibilities
  • Process improvement projects that will drive efficiency amongst the team
  • Provide recommendations and interpretations of the data or information provided in sales analytics
  • Document and maintain process instructions that will assist in the training of new analysts
  • Earn the confidence of the business unit and provide any necessary reports needed to measure performance of the front-line sales force, regional managers and directors.

Role Qualifications:

  • Must be able to analyze and resolve complex administrative issues of a broad scope using independent judgment
  • Ability to prioritize work and keep accurate, detailed, and confidential records
  • Must be able to observe and correct minute inconsistencies (e.g. in the numbers, printed word, report appearance, etc.)
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
  • Must be able to learn quickly
  • Must be able to build interpersonal relationships across the organization

    Essential skills and experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline
    • 2 to 5 years accounting, finance or data analysis experience. Medical manufacturing/healthcare environment preferred

    Other Skills

    • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communications skills
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Exceptional skills in applicable software programs (Excel, basic ERP query)
    • Exceptional skills with data management, pivot tables, and advanced functions in Excel
    • ERP systems experience (AS400, SAP)
    • Preferred but not required experience in Power Pivot, Power BI, Power Query, Sql
