  • Ability to travel when necessary (less than 10%)
  • Ability to cultivate and build relationships within sales, across functions and across divisions
  • The ability to advise and push back on others if need be; act as a trusted advisor for their customers
  • This position exists to acquire new talent for our highly specialized, diverse, rapidly growing sales team. The sales recruiter enables growth by attracting, selecting and assimilating talented sales professionals who can achieve above market growth. A successful sales recruiter will have a keen eye when reviewing resumes and conducting interviews and be sharp, professional and sales-oriented.

*Minimum Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution required.
  • 3+ years medical industry recruiting and/or sales recruiting experience with a proven track record of achievement
  • Partner with hiring manager to determine current and future talent needs.
  • Compete for top talent with effective recruitment strategies and efficient recruitment processes.
  • Collaborate across Stryker to share talent.
  • Manage internal transfer process, including communication with other division, screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for key markets. Identify, evaluate, and implement new sourcing channels.
  • Build knowledge, skill and confidence to approach, prepare and succeed at behavioral based interviews and train others to do the same.
  • Review and analyze resumes using applicant tracking software systems. Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administer or schedule appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, and make recommendations for hire (or not hire).
  • Work with internal and external recruiters to identify new talent in sales.
  • Scour job search websites for potential recruits and contact viable candidates personally.
  • Introduce new hires to Stryker and walk them through the hiring and training process and ensure all requirements are met.
