Job Description

As part of Accelerate Program which is introducing SAP and a number of other new systems to the business as well as business process changes, support the NV Program Manager with NV Fremont site team co-ordination, Project Management & Cutover Management.

Project Management:  accountable to the NV Program Manager; work with the project team members to develop & maintain a project plan for the team members’ respective areas of responsibility and hold them accountable to the plan which should align to the corporate plan; work closely with the corporate team (PMO, IS, PIL’s, BPO’s, GPO’s) to ensure full alignment; support the NV program manager in ensuring the Fremont team and the Fremont stakeholders have a go to person on site for escalation, support, communications; provide support to the team members who will each be responsible for providing regular status updates for their area of responsibility; provide program status updates as needed to NV divisional stakeholders & corporate stakeholders; host team meetings, provide updates to the division at corporate meetings; identify, assess, monitor risks & identify mitigation strategies; manage escalations to program manager; monitor change requests; provide coaching & mentoring to team members to support the changes through implementation.

Cutover Management: accountable to the NV Program Manager, work with the divisional & corporate team to develop a cutover plan across all impacted systems & processes for the NV wave deployment; overall responsibility for the successful execution of the agreed cutover plan; work closely with stakeholders to identify risks and agree & implement risk mitigation strategies associated with cutover; host regular meetings with the team to develop and monitor the cutover plan; develop & lead cutover communications & status updates to all stakeholders; manage all cutover activity including any blackout activity e.g. develop manual processes & forms during blackout periods, run through rehearsals, detailed hour by hour plan as needed for cutover period, agreement of resource plan to support the cutover plan; work closely with the corporate cutover team; work closely with all team members (divisional & corporate) to ensure full alignment for cutover e.g. data team, test team, IS, NV business owners, power users, BPO’s, GPO’s, PIL’s, NV Program Manager, NV advisory board and NV Executive Sponsor.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of PM software
