We are looking for a Goal-oriented orchestrator who can effectively communicate across levels of the organization. This person will be a confident project manager capable of multi-tasking. You will have direct responsibility for driving multiple business critical sustaining engineering projects from concept to implementation. We seek those who will take initiative and proactively engage with stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.  In this role you are an integral part of the Mobius Imaging PMO. Your experience and expertise in Project Management will help enable a continuous improvement effort for our world class imaging technology. Your core responsibility will be to drive projects and programs that improve product reliability and enhance the customer experience. Our Challenges:

We have more than 200 Airo® TruCT systems installed around the world. We encourage a continuous improvement environment and routinely seek voice of customer to help foster reliability and improved customer experience. The Sustaining Engineering team is developing a reliability roadmap to ensure the Airo® TruCT meets and/or exceeds expectations. We need a quality-focused team driver to manage the sustaining engineering projects. In this context you will manage the creation of improvement projects, be a key interface with stakeholders, determine project needs and deliverables as well as creation of project timelines.  

The Airo® TruCT used in Neurosurgery, Radiation Oncology and Diagnostic Radiology is in high demand. Our Sustaining Engineering Team is on the front-line managing product improvement initiatives, working with customers and key stakeholders to drive improved reliability programs. A key challenge is managing new product development and sustaining engineering initiatives. You will be immersed in a fast-paced environment where priorities change, time is critical, and a strong team presence is vital to success.

What you will do

  • ​Leads or coordinates cross-functional project teams from design to delivery of fully developed products that are ready for customer use

  • Develops, tracks, maintains, and manages project plan, budget, and timeline.

  • Identifies project scope; coordinates with Operations, Quality, Sales, Finance and Direct Customers to identify goals, schedule, budget, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources

  • Develops project governance and report out to management teams

  • Provides additional documentation on project as needed.

  • Identifies, tracks, and resolves all project risks and issues. Develops mitigation strategy to eliminate risk to project deliverables.

  • Develops and evaluates resource and staffing plan; monitors schedules and workflow.

  • Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.

  • Provides day-to-day guidance for project activities; actively works to promote and recognize performance of project team/s

  • Manages multiple engineering projects in a cross functional, matrix environment

  • Prioritizes tasks and aligns with Product Engineering Manager to assign resources to ensure that the project deliverables are met.

  • Manages project transitions between functional groups and project phases.

Education & special trainings:

  • Bachelor's Degree; in a technical discipline such as Biomedical Engineering preferred

  • 5+ years experience; experience in managing projects in a regulated industry (med device experience preferred)

  • PMP certification highly, preferred

  • Demonstrated understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices in the applicable area of engineering, preferred

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 10%
