We’re looking for an experienced project manager with the ability to influence teams to execute plans and deliver results.  Someone who is an advocate for operational excellence and efficiency; a self-directed leader who can anticipate and overcome obstacles and communicate effectively to all levels within the organization; and a medical device industry professional who is passionate about providing superior quality products to patients and customers.  


You will lead cross-functional operations teams to effectively launch new product introductions and deliver business process improvement projects integral to the site’s strategic growth plan.  You will have the opportunity to:  

  • Manage projects and programs with respect to integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, human resource, communications, risk, and procurement management
  • Manage risk, schedule, budget and resources for large scale or multiple mid-scale projects
  • Ensure project / program management excellence for product development and business processes
  • Work collaboratively across functions to identify and resolve project issues
  • Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety, product quality and compliance
  • Apply technical knowledge and project management skills to the design, development and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment with emphasis on meeting quality, service level, and cost objectives
  • Understand how the full operations value stream works and use that to drive planning and decisions
  • Coordinate, manage, document and communicate project milestones and progress
  • Develop and manage effective team and stakeholder communication plans
  • Achieve work objectives both independently and as a leader/member of a work team

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical, business or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of engineering or operations experience which includes technical project management
  • 5+ years related experience in the medical device or heavily regulated manufacturing industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of software such as: MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
  • Confidence reporting out to cross-functional and production leadership on project performance against objectives
  • Strongly Preferred: Master’s degree (MS or MBA) and Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
  • Preferred: 3+ years continuous improvement/ lean six sigma experience in operations
