Job Description

Work with Mahwah Operations Leadership to manage very large scale and highly complex departmental and cross-functional strategic and facilities projects as developed by the Leadership Team to support the Mahwah Plant.  Establish and maintain metrics that help evaluate and guide business consistent with that strategy.  Assist in developing future strategies for plant operations with respect to footprint allocation, energy management as well as equipment selection.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in development of strategic plans for Mahwah Operations.  Develop and drive execution of the strategic plans including capital projects and operational improvements.
  • Design, develop, introduce and maintain a standard metrics package for assigned projects.
  • Develop and execute a multi-stakeholder communications plan throughout Mahwah Operations and outside Mahwah Operations.
  • Support the planning and execution of meetings and events; conduct post mortems.
  • Lead and manage broad, complex and impactful Operations projects.
  • Manage the creation and approval of Capital Equipment Requests (CERs) based on sound financial knowledge and inputs from technical experts.

Qualifications and Work Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or other relevant field of study.  Prefer Master’s Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management as it relates to project execution, machinery installation and moves.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple complex projects demanding cross-functional cooperation and the resultant timely completion of these projects.
  • Must be comfortable presenting at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated applied knowledge of project management methodology, including an appreciation for budget management, milestone planning and deliverables.
