Job Description

As Senior Project Manager you will be part of our international and interdisciplinary Sensing Technologies team in the area of robotic assisted surgery.

Your key responsibilities

  • In your function as Project Manager and Scrum Master you are responsible for development and research projects covering innovative localization and machine vision technologies together with product owners. These market-leading basic technologies are the foundation for many of our company's computer-assisted surgery systems and help to significantly improve healthcare.

  • Together with teams of highly qualified employees, you will set time, cost and quality targets and ensure their compliance by actively managing project risks.

  • You and your teams support the successful implementation of projects with the required regulated documentation of project results.

  • You work closely with international, internal teams, integrators and external partners and institutes and form a central interface to our team. To a large extent you manage stakeholders, communicate the project status within the corporation and ensure satisfied partners.

  • You support the departmental management in the areas of personnel management, budget planning and cost control.

What are we looking for?

  • You have successfully completed a technical or engineering degree (e.g. computer science, electrical engineering, robotics or similar)

  • You have at least 4 years of professional experience in system or software development, preferably in a regulated industry.

  • During this time, you have discovered your talents in the areas of communication, moderation and organization and have led your first projects under your leadership to success.

  • Your main focus was on the development of products in the area of sensor technology, machine vision, robotics or similar.

  • You bring along a broad technical understanding and interest, which enables you to understand and analyze complex systems. Therefore, you are able to moderate and instruct even highly technical qualified teams.

  • You love to motivate people and to create and demand structures for an efficient working environment.

  • First experiences in agile project management are an advantage.

  • Fluent English language skills complete your profile.
