The Senior Project Manager – Local Warehouses Lead will coordinate one of Stryker's largest acquisitions and ensure alignment between the EMEA Central Distribution Center (CDC) and the local warehouse, as well as the Merger & Acquisition (M&A) team and the Integration Candidate. The Senior Project Manager will prepare the readiness, for all Stryker warehouses within the EMEA region for, the different waves of integrations.

In this role you will liaise between the EMEA CDC and the local warehouses within the EMEA region, as part of the bigger integration program. Both parties have local warehouses which require compliant and efficient processes, including the adherence to trade laws and local regulatory requirements (e.g. local language labeling / local registration). You will be responsible for coordinating all activities to enable a compliant integration and for ensuring enough distribution capacity in each local warehouse, to support cross selling activities and ramp up sales throughout all the processes.

This is a fixed term contract for 18 months.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

  • Create clear and attainable project objectives; budget, time, and quality/scope;
  • Lead project (sub-)teams and manage the execution of projects throughout all phases of a project;
  • Drive projects to completion and ensure appropriate handover to (internal) customer(s) / process owners;
  • Improve, develop and design processes and procedures as required by the projects;
  • Follow up on project progress, manage the various project tasks;
  • Lead and support multiple projects simultaneously ensuring a high-quality outcome;
  • Periodic reporting on project progress;
  • Close out of projects and lead and document lessons learned;


  • Bachelor’s -or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Distribution & Logistics, Operations or equivalent;
  • Project Management Professional (PMI) or Lean Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt) is advantageous



  • 5+ years’ experience working in supply chain and logistics;
  • 5+ years’ experience in Project Management managing sizable, multi-disciplinary projects;
  • Logistics expert with an in-depth understanding of warehouse processes (e.g. inbound-, storage-, outbound- and returns processes);
  • Good understanding and experience with warehouse setup & design;
  • Experience in larger, multi-disciplinary projects in an international setting;
  • Working in a multicultural and multi-functional environment;
  • Good communicator with cultural awareness;
  • IT Skills: (Oracle11i), MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Fluent in English and preferably one of the following: French, Spanish, Italian or German


  • Working in medical device industry in Operations/PMO (Stryker experience is a plus)
  • Knowledge of regulation and ERP systems (Oracle)
  • Experience with execution of warehouse moves/integrations
  • Experience with International Standards in the Medical industry (e.g. ISO 13485)
