Job Description

Stryker’s Connected Care group is looking for a talented Project Manager to join our team and help deliver strategic digital solutions in an evolving space for Stryker.  “Data is the Asset” and we need your help in delivering this value to our customers.  This role will provide an opportunity to engage a wide range of stakeholders; Customers, New Product Development Teams, and Sales and Marketing professionals across multiple divisions and functional areas within Stryker.  If you are looking for an opportunity that will allow you to see Stryker through a wider lens and grow your skills in software development, this is the right role for you.   

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans including Task lists and GANTT chart.
  • Develop functional specifications that fully define project and product: Cost, Performance criteria, Scope, Capital equipment request/justification, etc.
  • Develop and direct project resources.
  • Periodically provide progress report to other functional areas of the company affected by the project.
  • Monitor and control project timelines, costs and resources.
  • Provide development and guidance for assigned Co-op/Intern/Technician/Engineer.
  • Develop and conduct Co-op/Intern/Technician/Engineer performance appraisals.
  • Contribute to career development planning for assigned Co-op/Intern/Technician/Engineer.

Minimum Education, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8-10 years project experience required.
  • Project management training and understanding required.
  • Leadership training desired.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated outstanding organizational, industry, and technical knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/facilitate problem solving teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop detailed process plans using applicable tools (e.g. PFMEA, Fault Tree Analysis).
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, track and facilitate projects using applicable tools (Gantt and Pert Charts etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to justify, procure and implement major capital equipment programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/facilitate cross-functional teams,
  • Group Problem Solving.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing PM Systems.
  • Understanding and demonstrated use of various statistical techniques.
