Your key responsibilities

  • As a member of the Technical Office team you will gain in depth knowledge about Stryker’s Trauma & Extremities portfolio. You will learn how External Fixators, Bone Plates & Screws, Surgical Instruments and many other products help improve people’s life.
  • Together we are responsible for over 7000 articles. We count on you to maintain our high standard in packaging design specification. Conjointly you continuously improve existing device packaging systems on their performance, manufacturing processes and cost efficiency.
  • Through your expertise in packaging design and engineering you support Global Quality Assurance and our international manufacturing site in Manufacturing Transfers and Sustaining Engineering activities.
  • In your field of responsibility, you will make sure that packaging design requirements are met as well as apply the design change process and identify technical solutions in this context. In addition, you define, facilitate and analyze the testing of existing packaging systems with the aim of compiling and providing Technical Files meeting international standards and regulations.
  • You are further supporting integration activities of acquired products and actively participate in, and lead, cross functional teams resolving Non-Conformities(NC) and drive Corrective-, Preventive-Actions(CAPA).

What are we looking for?

  • You have undergone an education and special training with BS/BA degree or equivalent in a technical field such as Packaging-, Mechanical- or Biomedical-Engineering and have gained 5+ years of professional experience in packaging engineering including design transfer activities.
  • Desirably you bring experience working in the medical device industry and knowledge of the applicable regulations.
  • You are characterized by analytical reasoning, a focused and pro-active work style along with a high sense of duty and advanced problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • You value an international working environment where you can use your excellent command of English and German. Good knowledge of French is an advantage.
