Summary

We are seeking a driven individual that will be working in a fast-paced environment, supporting the day to day payroll activities and leading on multiple payroll initiatives. This person will also act as a support to the Payroll Manager and will have potential to develop further within the role in line with business requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manages the International Assignee process across all payrolls
  • Lead the management of all 3rd party payments to ensure timely & accurate processing
  • Lead Tax Year End activities for all payrolls
  • Lead and be a single point of contact for all Audit request
  • Lead the Interface process between the HR and Payroll systems
  • Completes the day to day payroll operational tasks accurately, on time and in line with SOX controls
  • Responsible for identifying and driving process improvements across all payrolls and ensuring standardization
  • Responsible for ensuring team members receives adequate training regarding payroll system and processes, as required
  • Troubleshoots any issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Manages payroll testing process for system upgrades and patches
  • Collaborates with Shared Services Teams, HR Teams, Finance and any relevant business partners
  • Covers for Payroll Manager when required

Skills & Education

  • Third level qualification (level 8 degree or equivalent) in finance or related. IPASS and Payroll Technician Qualification or equivalent is an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience plus payroll experience is required
  • Previous experience working in a large multinational environment is an advantage
  • Expert knowledge Tax and Social Security regulations is required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and is logical and analytical
  • Highly motivated with strong customer service and quality work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail, completes transactions accurately and has ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Highly organised and has ability to multitask
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and collaborates excellently with colleagues, teams, other functions
  • Dependable, honest and confidential
