What you will do

As a Senior Packaging Engineer, you will work with diverse teams of highly talented medical device professionals to design and develop creative packaging solutions that enhance user experience for a wide range of medical devices.  You will have the unique opportunity to interface with our customer base to facilitate feedback and implement into packaging designs that you have created.  Through the new product development process, you will oversee all packaging activities to ensure all requirements are met and that we are providing the most ideal solution in the most efficient and effective manner.  You will develop  a vision and coordinate a strategy for packaging graphics and branding strategies to help Stryker packaging stand out above the competition.  In collaboration with the rest of the packaging engineering team, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions that make healthcare better.

What you need

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in packaging (preferred) or related area of study
  • 2 + years packaging engineering or related engineering experience
  • Self motivated individual who is able to work independently as well as on teams to deliver results
  • Ability to interact with personnel at all levels of the organization, as well as agents of other companies, standards organizations and government
  • Effective verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills•Excellent computer skills

Preferred:

  • Experience working within the medical device industry or similar regulated industry
  • Experience with branding and graphic design

Work From Home: No

Travel Percentage: Up to 25%
