Job Description


Performs a variety of technical duties using the appropriate standard practices required in the area. Works under limited supervision.  Follows general direction for work and may have full responsibility for minor projects.


  • Performs tasks requiring considerable judgment in determining work methods, interpreting results and writing clear and accurate reports.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation.
  • Conduct maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment and software tools.
  • May build and test mechanical models, electrical circuits and assemblies, software, and/or perform basic analyses requiring knowledge of scientific and/or laboratory techniques.
  • Work from prints, drawings, method sheets, diagrams, workmanship standards or other specifications in accordance with established assembly procedures
  • Record accurate maintenance and calibration data in medical device monitored environment
  • Monitor and record test related documentation to meet quality requirements
  • Build prototype electrical test fixtures
  • Works with technicians and may assist engineers in evaluating and improving designs or processes.
  • Train and certify others to the duties and responsibilities as required
  • Collect, analyze, maintain and test report data from production processes using proper measurement techniques and implement corrective actions
  • Communicate and work with all aspects of production team, including operators, other technicians, engineers, analysts, and management to identify and resolve issues
  • Troubleshoot and fault isolate equipment.
  • Compare results against predetermined limits and write clear and accurate test result reports.
  • Build and repair wiring assemblies
  • Perform other related duties as required


  • Technical Associate Degree or equivalent experience in applicable discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years applicable technical experience.

  • Class III Medical Device, highly regulated environment
  • Fast-paced light industrial and office environment, requiring regular use of computer, mouse and telephone.
