What you will do

In this Sr. Microbiologist position you will be responsible for the Biosafety (Biocompatibility, Sterilization and Microbiology) activities within SNV. You will be managing the Microbiology Lab activities. You will be the subject matter expert on product development teams, coordinate biosafety activities, ensure process is compliant to standards and regulations and identify and execute quality initiatives that support compliance to standards as well as identifying opportunities for improving the biosafety processes. You will be the subject matter expert representing Biosafety in both internal and external facing situations. You will also be responsible for NC/CAPA activities within your area of expertise.

Job Requirements

What you need
•Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences or engineering
•4+ years experience as a Microbiologist (LAL/Bioburden/EM testing, Biocompatibility, Sterilization) is preferred
•Master’s Degree preferred
