You mission is to:

  • Analyze the system level customer requirements and synthesis of those requirements into appropriate and verifiable mechanical specifications to meet both business and technical needs
  • Develop complex mechanical designs and applications to meet customer and system requirements
  • Design mechanics and plastics with help of 3D CAD systems
  • Estimate deliverable sizes and task efforts
  • Document requirements, design and tests for maintainability
  • Design and conduct component qualifications
  • Lead and participate in technical reviews
  • Provide training and mentoring to junior team members
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • You are a communicative person who can transfer skills and knowledge in an informative and easy digestible way.
  • You are clear in your message and not afraid to question if needed.
  • You have experience in working in the medical device industry and cardiac related medical devices is preferable.
  • You have knowledge of good design methodologies and patterns and experience in designing safety critical medical devices or products in a regulated industry.
  • You are familiar with 3D Cad systems, preferable Solidworks.
  • You also have a demonstrated understanding of and ability to follow good development processes .
  • In addition to a university degree in engineering, you have at least 3 to 5 years work experience in development of mechanical designs.
  • You use English and Swedish fluently in speech and writing.
