As a Stryker Sourcing Manager you will support New Product Introductions, Manufacturing Transfers, Global Strategy Development, Mergers & Acquisitions and Supplier Business Reviews.  You will also develop and implement global sourcing strategies that impact multiple Stryker manufacturing facilities. You will lead in the development and implementation of strategies that drive cost savings, continuity of supply, supplier and product quality improvement, which supports the development of innovation and growth opportunities for the business. You will proactively manage Stakeholder expectations through regular and effective communication methods that demonstrate your knowledge of the business, together with your portfolio of suppliers / commodities and their impact to the business.   • Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain Mgt, Engineering, Finance or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of experience in Operations and/or Quality functions.                                                  Experience in medical device or other regulated industry preferred
  • Supply Chain and/or Medical Device quality certifications or training is desired. Experience developing, negotiating, and implementing commercial contracts to include: supply and quality agreements (QAA).
  • Experience managing commodities and/or strategic sourcing teams in a manufacturing environment.  Ability to lead and influence across multiple departments and levels
  • Financial analysis and negotiation skills required at complex levels
  • Strategic analysis skills required.
  • Understanding of procurement strategy and commodity management in a manufacturing environment.
