Senior Manager, Site Operations is responsible for managing outbound and inbound operations, meeting and exceeding customer service levels as well as achieving all internal metrics/quality goals.  Maintains state of constant audit readiness while serving as senior leader for the site.  This individual will also liaise with counterparts in our Cestas, France and Neuchatel, Switzerland locations on operations and manufacturing concerns.

  • Lead the order scheduling, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving associated with customer orders
  • Direct team members to achieve daily distribution and operations goals; track daily performance and provide timely feedback to the team
  • Manage customer service levels to the field
  • Ensure seamless replenishment and inventory flow from finished goods supply points
  • Drive compliance to FDA, ISO and Company requirements including all safety, quality, training and operational documentation and practices
  • Deliver communications to both exempt and non-exempt team members to ensure the team’s achievement of quality, cost, delivery, safety and talent objectives
  • Manage, coach, mentor and develop direct reports
  • Monitor employee attendance (e.g., start time, breaks, etc.) to ensure customer needs are met
  • Ensure the effective delivery of periodic business performance reviews
  • Participate in problem solving and focus on continuous improvement via Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
  • Foster relationships with internal customers (Mfg, QA, Finance, IT, Customer Service) to gain perspective and create win-win solutions
  • Analyze warehouse capacity, optimize space and flow
  • Manage expiring product and process DAR requests
  • Maintain process for reconciling shipping discrepancies and trending errors
  • Participate in WMS problem/issue resolution


  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, logistics or other relevant technical discipline
  • 10+  years in supply chain, logistics, distribution, customer service, etc.
  • 3+ years of prior direct people management experience preferably within a distribution environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain management and logistics in a complex distribution environment including principles and methods for product or order fulfillment including needs assessment, product usage, and inventory control systems and processes
  • Demonstrated team leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to recruit, teach, and coach individuals from diverse backgrounds with varying communication and technical skills in an ever-changing environment
  • Demonstrated communication, presentation, partnership and influence skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive team productivity, while maintaining high levels of employee engagement and morale
  • Demonstrated work experience in a team-based environment which places a high degree of emphasis on accountability for customer service levels, inventory management, cost reduction and quality compliance
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with a high problem solving and process improvement orientation are critical
  • Demonstrated ability to identify reporting needs, then create and generate detailed and high-level reports
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Software (including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Demonstrated understanding and proficiency in navigating Warehouse Management Systems and Oracle/Expandable 
  • Must be able to work with off-shifts and work weekends
  • Proven track record of process improvements based on sound problem solving practices highly desired.
  • Individual must demonstrate strong interpersonal, managerial and diplomatic skills/talents and the demonstrated ability to impact operational results
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Self-starting, self-motivating mindset
