Job Description

Main objective / purpose of the role:

The primary objective of this position is to move the inventory in a supply chain effectively and efficiently and to extend the desired level of customer service at the minimal cost, and to manage trade compliance which identifies risks, prevent and mitigate damages related to the customs laws of countries where the company operates.

Critical success factors / key deliverables:

  • Logistics (+import & export)
  • Shipment tracking and delivery(from shipping invoice to goods receipt in warehouse)
  • Customs clearance (+KMDIA approval)
  • Goods receipt and monthly closing
  • Daily clearance & goods receipt report
  • Manual entry of ASN data
  • Payment to service providers
  • Managing shipping discrepancy and claims
  • Export handling (booking, Preparation of export documents, tracking to final destination etc..)
  • In & Out process of non-conforming products and keep tracking records
  • OPS KPI and data management
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Deliver qualified reports to the team and leaders
  • NC analysis
  • Budgeting and forecasting for logistics cost
  • Trade compliance
  • Coordinate customs audits and tax audits
  • Post entry audits, manage and report on the process
  • FTA and duty drawbacks
  • Coordinate HS code classification
  • Document retention management (controlling and checking the document archive process)
  • TP correction if applicable
  • Quality management: Coordinate operations' ISO13485 with QA
  • Process improvement
  • Logistics (+warehouse) cost saving initiatives
  • Identify opportunities in logistics and warehouse processes, implement and monitor change
  • Kit order processing: Receive instrument kit orders(STC) from kit team and order processing until return to warehouse
  • Follow up logistics related laws and regulations

Knowledge / Skills / Attributes

Academic qualifications / degree & relevant prior experience:

* More than 5 years in logistics and trade compliance

* Knowledge in business logistics and International Trade

* OA skills at excel + visual basic will be a plus

* Lean-6sigma and SPC skills are preferred

Key strengths / personal attributes for the role:

* Interactive communications with stakeholders like warehouse(+3PL), customs broker, carriers, finance, APAC transportation & trade compliance, international order management, IBP, CS, and etc.

* Willing to change and passion for continuous improvement

* Not only process-oriented but also able to deliver commitment

* Ability to streamline work process

* Good command of English in writing and speaking
