Job Description

The following is not intended to represent an all-inclusive list of job responsibilities, but to outline the ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of the position.

Basic Function:

  • Oversees, coordinates and/or administrates various human resource functions such as recruiting and selection, employee relations activities, training and development, as well as functional area research and/or developmental projects.


  • Continuously fully comply with all quality standard regulatory requirements.
  • Will coordinate and administer the recruiting and selection system within the site and ensure regulatory compliance in a timely and cost-effective manner.
    • Conduct and submit financial assessments pre-offer and post-offer letters to ensure meeting compensation budget per position.
    • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand present and future challenges and opportunities, and how those translate into present and future talent needs
  • Will assist in the interpretation and administration of company policies and guidelines and will advise and counsel others in equitable application.
  • Will maintain constant and effective involvement in employee relations activities taking a leadership role as appropriate.
  • Will be responsible of support the Common Annual Performance Review Process for the company.
  • Will be responsible for enforcing employee development through the effective administration of the Talent Review and Succession Planning processes.
  • Will coordinate for and/or assist in the training of both exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Will assist in the compilation and/or preparation of confidential reports, statistics, graphs and/or files for the Human Resource function.
  • May perform job description analysis and compensation analysis
  • Will plan, evaluate, research and/or recommend systemic and/or process improvements for the Human Resource function.
  • Will develops and presents orientation of Human resources policies for new hires
  • Will submit periodic reports on assigned topics to supervisor.
  • Will maintain the active and inactive employee files
  • Will support motivation and recognition programs and activities for employees.
  • May advise employees on general benefits

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • May coordinate the activities of 1 or more non-exempt employee.
  • May evaluate the performance of 1 or more non-exempt employees based on pre-established performance parameters.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, etc. Generally, involves sitting most of the time.
  • Must be able to review printed materials.
  • Must be able to operate common office equipment (e.g. calculator, PC, telephone, etc.).
  • Must be able to communicate telephonically.
  • Must be able to communicate to large groups of people.

Mental Requirements:

  • Must be able to generate, understand and explain detailed company policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to analyze and resolve non-routine human resource and business issues of moderate scope using independent judgment.
  • Ability to prioritize work and keep detailed, accurate and confidential information and records.

Required Education and Training:

  • B.B.A. or B.S. in business with an emphasis in human resources or related curriculum; or equivalent experience.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years human resource or related experience.
