Job Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to impact multiple human capital reporting and analytics, providing data and insights through workforce metrics, dashboards, and reports. The responsibilities will require building reports, automating report development and utilizing data driven insights to collaborate with the broader HR community and business to aid in managing their talent lifecycle.

The position location can be at any Stryker location.

In this role, you will be challenged to:

• Assess and provide input in the design and distribution of new reports. This includes designing analytical approaches, and delivering research and findings using data, visualizations, and effective storytelling techniques about our workforce
• Translate findings into succinct, actionable business insights, often in coordination with partners who help you tell a holistic story
• Provide data for ad hoc requests and answer questions about the dashboards and tables
• Actively support the proper use, storage and transmission of sensitive employee data and actively participate in system and data quality compliance
• Educate our customers on self-service reporting solutions
• Research data issues, offer superior customer service and answer questions relating to HR systems’ data
• Support providing timely and accurate HR data reporting to various audiences, identifying trends and areas of interest useful and actionable for HR and business leaders
• Provide support for system users on use of HR reporting tools and troubleshooting errors
• Communicate regularly with system users on projects, design changes and other work impacting the user community
• Execute regression and patch testing on HR applications functionality and maintain testing plan as needed to support reporting applications
• Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with both internal and external customers to resolve issues and concerns that arise
• Look for data inconsistencies and assist with data cleanup as appropriate
• Participate in various HR projects and initiatives while working collaboratively with other team members

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, or other related field required
Master’s degree preferred

Work Experience:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in reporting and information delivery 
• 1-2 years of experience in an HRIS or functional support role preferred
• Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with advanced spreadsheets and formula, including VBA code
• Database development (SQL and/or Access) preferred
• Managing multiple projects in parallel, work collaboratively with teams and as an individual contributor
• Experience with HR systems software preferred

• Strong technology aptitude
• Strong interest in research, data, metrics and analysis
• Ability to independently execute tasks independently with a strong attention to detail and deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to provide support and train various levels of users 
• Proven customer service, organizational and team collaboration skills 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, efficiently prioritize projects and embrace new challenges.
• Excellent Microsoft Office application skills
