Job Description

  • Initiate background and drug screen as required for new candidates.
  • Verify candidate successfully completes the pre-employment background check and drug screen processes; following up on any open items.
  • Facilitate I-9 and E-Verify process; following up on any e-verify non-confirmation results to comply with government regulations.
  • Communicate with candidates as needed pertaining to required documents and outstanding background screen items.
  • Provide regular updates to divisional HR regarding candidate status and any potential delays to the hire process.
  • Coordinate with HRBPs and the Workplace Practices COE during the candidate review process, providing guidance regarding issues that may surface.
  • Distribute appropriate new hire paperwork to candidate based on divisional and government requirements.
  • Perform routine audits of data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review invoices and troubleshoot with vendor and Accounts Payable as required.

Education & Special Trainings:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field of study or equivalent related work experience is preferred
  • High school diploma is required
  • 4-5+ year(s) HRIS, HR or customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Knowledge in key HR software, systems and reporting tools (e.g. Workday, Docusign, Certiphi, etc.) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze issues, determine appropriate solutions and resolve sensitive problems.
  • Strong customer service orientation; ability to provide service and remain focused even during emotionally charged circumstances.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to use independent judgement effectively.
  • Clear verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Must possess a high level of integrity and be comfortable handling confidential information.
  • Must be able to analyze and conduct necessary research to assist the customer with determining the most correct path forward to resolve the situation. 
  • Must be able to observe and correct minute inconsistencies (e.g. in the printed word, report appearance, etc.)
  • Must be able to effectively manage multiple conflicting priorities in fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to focus on details and deliver high-quality, accurate information.
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures.
