Stryker Neurovascular is looking for a talented professional for the critical position of Senior Director, Global Marketing, Hemorrhagic Disease State. In this Global Marketing role, the leader will have responsibility for the marketing strategy and execution for the largest revenue-generating franchise in the Neurovascular business. He/she will drive collaboration across the global and regional marketing and marketing operations teams to improve information and best practice sharing, process improvement and decision making. This role is highly focused on gaining alignment with our five commercial regions (North America, Latin America, APAC, EMEA and Japan), to ensure we are supporting a winning strategy with our customers. This position will report to the VP/GM, Global Commercialization and will have a seat at the table on the Global Commercial Excellence Leadership Team.

The Global Hemorrhagic marketing team has a track record of successful global product launches (Target coils, Atlas stent, etc.) and focuses on key upstream initiatives to evolve our organization to become a $1B division. Primary Responsibilities:

The Senior Global Marketing Director will have full functional responsibility for the global Hemorrhagic franchise strategy and execution in the areas of market, product line, disease state, commercialization, new business, new market, advertising, competitive, reimbursement, outcomes planning, and market development for a given franchise, product group, or product line. Additionally, responsibility for the overall Global Marketing Organization in collaboration with the Hemorrhagic and Marketing Operations leaders. 

  • Accountability for collaboration with the other Global Franchise & Marketing Operations leaders to support of the division processes and strategy for the entire global marketing organization
  • Directs staff in the management and execution of marketing projects.
  • Reviews progress of projects.
  • Plans and organizes product projects to include all technical aspects of marketing.
  • Evaluates and assesses the developmental/skill needs of staff on a continuous basis to ensure appropriate competencies exist to meet project assignments.
  • Oversees and advises all aspects of marketing product management activities including pricing, positioning, promotion, and training.
  • Develops and implements marketing programs and plans.
  • Develops forecasting marketing strategies, programs, and materials.
  • Manages marketing staff (managers) providing guidance and direction.
  • Interacts with Director level associates from other departments on daily operation/direction of the business.
  • Conducts global sales and marketing training programs.
  • Interfaces with clients and customers regarding new and improved products.
  • Interacts with global / regional sales and marketing teams to achieve objectives.
  • Performs responsibilities required by the Quality System and other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Establishes and supports a work environment of continuous improvement that supports Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area they support.  Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.

  • 15 years of successful related business experience
  • Strong organizational leadership skills
